The Metro Card is a long-term use, smart card that allows users to add money to their card at nearly 100 vendors throughout Colorado Springs. Users can add value to the Metro Card using cash and debit or credit cards. Metro Card users can establish accounts via Mountain Metropolitan Transit’s website to add funds and monitor account balances as well as tracking multiple Metro Cards on a single account – this feature is especially helpful for families or care groups managing multiple Metro Cards. Currently the card is free but has to be combined with another product when ordered online, or you can call Customer Service at (719) 385-7433 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday and ask to have one sent to you at no charge.
